Iconic Resourcing has been engaged by a growing organisation in Glasgow who are experts in providing educational services. We are recruiting for a part time Finance Manager to join their expanding Glasgow team.
This is a key role within the team where you will report directly to one of two Directors. Your will have a range of responsibilities including maintaining records for sales and purchase ledger transactions, managing expenses, maintaining records of invoices and tax payments, processing payroll hours, managing the finance inbox, sending quotes and using Xero to manage bank reconciliations.
Your role will involve overseeing Xero management, liasing with customers, troubleshooting with Finance Admin staff, forecasting, preparing VAT returns and accounts and providing financial summaries for senior management.
To be successful you will be an experienced Accountant with extensive knowledge of financial and management accounting procedures. Ideally you'll also have experience of working in a small business. Knowledge of using Xero is preferred. It is a very exciting time to join this growing business as they expand in Scotland.
You'll be working in a friendly, close knit team who have a vast amount of experience between them. You'll have plenty of support and will work closely with colleagues around the UK. A competitive salary is on offer along with some flexibility in the days and hours worked.
