HR Advisor
Edinburgh (working from home initially)
Fixed Term Contract - 9 months
up to £35,000
Iconic Resourcing HR are working with a leading UK firm to recruit an HR Advisor to join a small but busy team, based remotely initially however at a later date you will hopefully be able to work from their central Edinburgh office. Immediate start available.
You will be responsible for managing all disciplinary, capability and grievance processes, absence management and analysis, generating contracts of employment and appropriate payroll documentation as well as managing maternity leave arrangements and flexible working requests.
Alongside this, you will assist with coordinating Equality and Diversity project work, participate in the firm's summer placement and graduate recruitment processes, assist in inductions for new starters, develop and administer training programmes, develop policies and coordinate annual salary reviews.
An all-round Generalist role, candidates will ideally have worked within a professional services organisation and be comfortable managing conflicting and demanding priorities. You will either already have or be working towards your CIPD level 5 qualification as a minimum requirement and have previous experience leading recruitment processes. Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential as you will be working alongside a variety of stakeholders. Any experience of dealing with capability management processes is desirable.
