This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to join a fast paced and small payroll team that handles the payroll for all of the UK based employees. It is a brand new role so it will allow the successful candidate to come in and really make the role their own.
This payroll team process high volumes of weekly & monthly pay runs and is a unique opportunity for someone top move into a payroll position from a fast paced processing position.
The main accountabilities of the role are as follows:
- Process employee details and payroll adjustments as required – e.g. new starts, leavers, changes to terms and conditions & court orders
- Inputting and checking all aspects of the UK Payroll
- Managing time management systems
- Perform manual calculations for ad-hoc payment requests or overpayments.
- Knowledge and application of statutory legislation SSP, SMP, ShPP etc.
- Processing third party payments
